நான் விண்டோஸில் தமிழ் டைப் பண்ண NHM writer யூஸ் பண்ணீட்டு இருக்கேன்.
அதில் தமிழ் phonetic mode ல் தமிழ் டைப் பண்ணுவது ரொம்ப சுலபமாக இருக்கிறது.
அதே மாதிரி உபன்டுவில் எதாவது வழி இருக்கிறதா?
தற்போது லினக்ஸில் தமிழ் டைப் செய்ய இந்த சுட்டி வழியாக பயன்படுத்தி வருகிறேன்.

தங்களது இயங்குதளம் / கணிமேசைப் பற்றிய பின்வரும் விபரங்கள் சொல்லுங்கள் :
1. பயன்படுத்தும் உபுண்டு வெளியீடு எண் : உபுண்டு 9.10 (கருமிக்), 9.04 (யோண்டி), .... ?
2. நிறுவிய வழங்கல் இறுவட்டிலிருந்தாயின் அது உபுண்டு ? குபுண்டு ? சுபுண்டு ?
3. பயன்படுத்தும் கணிமேசை கனோம் (gnome) ? கேடீஈ (KDE) ? xFce ?
(ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட கணிமேசைகள் நிறுவி அவ்வப்போது மாற்றிப் பயன்படுத்துவதாயின் எவ்வெவ் நிறுவியுள்ளீர்கள் என்பதைக் குறிப்பிடுங்கள்)

Dear Rajkumar
I saw you have uploaded 5 files to the files section of groups.google.com/group/freetamilcomputing about 10 days back.
It is better if you also write to the freetamilcomputing mail list a post introducing the different files and how and which applications to use the keypad programs among them. You can also copy the same here. That way more people will be get to know about your creations and your expectations for enhancing them further.

Thank you very much for your kind reply. I already started a discussion post in freetamilcomputing group. I think it is waiting for moderation since that was my first post.
* JRE required to run java file (phonetic typing) Works in all OS (linux, win..)
* Since it is (source code) in direct unicode itself, friends can understand it without
frustration
* Another one (Tamil Character Splitting .exe)is developed in VB. It requires windows
XP. (I added some info in readme file.)
I posted one article in tamilcpu(started because of my unawareness in like these groups) Google group. Please review it.

I haven't found a tamilan.tamilcpu Google Group site but yes I found "tamilcpu" wherein I see two articles :
"எண்ணும் எழுத்தும்"
"இணைய உலகில் இணையில்லாத் தமிழ்"
Also in FTC google group I see you have uploaded to pages section the following :
"கணித்தமிழில் ஒரு துளி"
I will express my opinions there under discussions when I could devote more time.
Among the files you had uploaded to FTC I am curious to find out about the code points that you indicate in the file "tamil+encoding.xls" as "Senthamil". Is there a encoding scheme with that name? If so where in web can I find details behind it ?
